Judy Shreve is a self-taught artist who is now glad she did not have a chance to study art in school. She actually prefers finding her own path, with her only regret being that she waited so long. She says she didn't have the courage to truly be herself when she was young, but she has now learned to trust the journey. This journey began in her forties with clay and has evolved to working with acrylics, charcoals, inks, and oil pastels on various surfaces - papers, boards, bisqued clay - whatever she can find! Judy can be found working in her studio every day, whether writing, drawing, painting, or working with clay. She states, "It all brings a song to my heart that maybe only I can hear, but it is my hope that others can share that song with me through my art."
