Memorial Day Weekend 2007

It seems hard to believe that this weekend is Memorial Day weekend…you know what that means…it's also ARTS IN THE PARK in downtown Blue Ridge! The forecast is calling for temperatures in the high 80's and very little chance of rain so reflect on this holiday of remembrance this weekend in the mountains while you hike, bike, hang out, and of course SHOP!

At High Country Art & Antique, we've received A LOT of new work by several of our artists including, Wen Ze Chen, Clifford Bailey, Carol Christie, CW Conner, Dora McDaniel and Yuan Rong Zhou. We also have a few new additions to our mix of talented artists and invite you to come and see all of the new pieces. In fact, there are so many new pieces that it's taking a long time to get everything added to the website. I'm still working on that, so please keep checking back, and by the end of the week you will be able to view new work at www.highcountryart.com.

We hope to see you and we wish you a safe and happy holiday weekend, wherever you spend it!

Holiday’s are around the corner, so why not  do your holiday shopping early in downtown Blue Ridge this weekend.  The stores are staying open late on Saturday November 18, until 8pm, so you can enjoy an evening strolling through the shops knocking things off of your Christmas list.

If you haven’t been to Blue Ridge in a while, there are plenty of new stores to see and a great variety for all of your gift buying.

At High Country Art & Antique, select paintings are 20% off.

Come enjoy Blue Ridge for the weekend or the day!

Romans 11:36
April 22, 2006 - May 15, 2006
6:00 - 9:00 pm
To view more artwork from the exhibition, click on image.

Romans 11:36 will be a show that highlights the paintings that our artists have worked on during this Lenten season. The artists have taken the time to contemplate and focus on the One who has given them their talent. The work is not of religious nature, just a grouping of work that gives thanks and glory to God.

Please join us Saturday, April 22, 2006 from 6-9pm. Hors douvres and punch will be served.
